Volunteer and learn more about the island you love or teach us all the stories you know! We’re looking for volunteers to help foster our island’s vast culture while having fun and meeting new friends in the process. History spans so many different topics and we’re sure to find something that satisfies your interests.
Give back to our island community and keep our history and culture alive by helping us in the following ways:
- Greet & Guide Visitors
- Research Topics for Exhibits & Programs
- Conduct Oral History Interviews
- Plan Programs & Events
- Fundraising & Grant Writing
- Marketing (from flyers around town to tech-savvy social media)
