Kaylie Stokes, an oral historian, will share excerpts of interviews she had with former members of Boca Grande’s Black community. Her presentation will include information from documented history that complements the narratives she recorded.

Kaylie works full-time as Assistant Director of Student Success Programs at New College of Florida. Her research preserves the histories and stories of families across the Gulf Coast.
