Outdoors in the parking lot next to the Boca Beacon and Gasparilla Outfitters Building
The exhibit features archival historic photos (the THEN) and beautiful photos of the same locations today (the NOW). You’ll learn about the Gaines Chevrolet dealership, the Ice and Fuel Company and the Guerard Family Dairy, the Fishery and where the first health food store on the island was. Boca Grande was a self-contained community with a drug store, a photo shop, schools, bars, grocery stores, gas station, dress shop, hair salon and barber shop – everything the Island needed was right here on the Island.

Masks will be required and will be provided. Hand sanitizer will also be available.
