Louise E. du Pont Crowninshield’s Legacy
- In 1929, Louise Crowninshield was instrumental in the building of the island’s school.
- Louise was the founder of the Boca Grande Health Clinic, established in 1938. Islanders would now have access to a year-round doctor.
- She generously built and presented the Community House to the island community in 1940.
- She was a founder of the Boca Grande Woman’s Club in 1948.
