The Boca Grande Fishing Hall of Fame was established in 2026 to honor the exceptional fishing guides and local individuals whose dedication, skill, and stewardship that have shaped Boca Grande’s fishing legacy. Through recognition of these pioneers, guides, and cornerstone contributors, the Boca Grande Historical Society seeks to preserve the traditions of the island’s fishing community while inspiring future generations of anglers and professionals to uphold this rich heritage.
Administered by the Boca Grande Historical Society, inductees are selected through a thoughtful nomination and review process that ensures each honoree reflects a sustained commitment to Boca Grande’s fishing history and traditions.
To celebrate the Boca Grande Fishing Hall of Fame we commemorated the inaugural class of inductees who were honored at a special dinner on April 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Crowninshield Community House. This milestone event marked the official launch of the Hall of Fame and recognized the first group of individuals whose contributions helped define Boca Grande as one of the world’s premier sport-fishing destinations.
