History Bytes – Picturing The Three Communities of Gasparilla Island 1890-1960 – Kim Kyle

Attend our signature program every Wednesday in February highlighting local stories on the history of island life.

Topic: Kim Kyle, one of the editors, will explain the process of compiling oral histories into the book, and Betsy Fugate Joiner will talk about the communities featured in One Island: Three Hometowns published by BGHS. Also a brief history of harbor pilots that served Port Boca Grande will be presented.

Location: Loggia of the Johann Fust Library
